The British Aerospace 146-200QC G-BPBT arrived at Christchurch (New Zealand) having completed its ferry flight from the United Kingdom (Hatfield). The aircraft had been sub-leased by Ansett New Zealand from Ansett Australia for 6 months.

Following its repaint into the revised 'QantasLink' livery, the Boeing 717-23S VH-VQD was ferried from Newcastle to Perth via Adelaide (West Beach) on delivery to National Jet Systems as Flight QF7981. National Jet Systems had been awarded the contract to operate services for Qantas as QantasLink.

The Silk Air Boeing 737-8SA 9V-MGF arrived at Brisbane, having completed its delivery flight to Virgin Australia as Flight SQ8890 from Singapore. It was reregistered as VH-IJQ on October 15 before it was ferried from Brisbane to Townsville as Flight VA9931 the next day for repainting by Flying Colours.
