The Qantas Airways Lockheed 1049G-82 Constellation VH-EAO 'Southern Auroa' arrived at Sydney (Kingsford Smith) having completed its delivery flight from the United States. It achieved a 'world-first' on this flight in being the first aircraft to cross the Pacific Ocean non-stop from Honolulu to Sydney (Kingsford Smith).

The ex Trans-Australia Airlines Fokker F.27-6187 Friendship VH-TQT, having been sold to Indonesian Air Transport via International Air Parts and reregistered as PK-TSL, departed Brisbane on its delivery flight to Jakarta (Indonesia).

The Virgin Australia Embraer 190-100IGW VH-ZPQ was rolled out at Melbourne (Tullamarine) in the airline's standard livery following its repaint. The aircraft was now named 'Main Beach'.

The Jetstar Airways Airbus A330-202 VH-EBE was ferried Brisbane to Singapore (Seletar) as Flight 6011 for repainting into the Qantas 'New Roo' livery, following its return to Qantas at the end of its lease.

The Virgin Australia Boeing 737-8SA VH-IJQ was ferried from Townsville to Brisbane as Flight VA9934, following its repaint from the Silk Air livery by Flying Colours.
