The Qantas Airways Boeing 767-338ER VH-OGB 'City of Kalgoorlie' arrived at Sydney (Kingsford Smith) having completed its delivery flight from the United States (Seattle / Paine Field) as Flight QF7632D. It was the airline's 73rd Boeing airliner and its 9th Boeing 767.

The Qantas Airways Boeing 747-438 VH-OJS 'Hamilton Island' was rolled out at Sydney (Kingsford Smith) with the special 'Soccoroos World Cup 2010' decals. It then operated a special promotional flight as Flight QF6167/6170 from Sydney (Kingsford Smith) to Melbourne (Tullamarine) return.
