Qantas Airways' first Boeing airliner, the Boeing 707-138 'N31239' (VH-EBA) took to the air on its maiden test flight from Seattle (Renton).

The Ansett Airlines Boeing 727-277LR VH-ANA had the honour of operating the airline's first commercial service from the new Brisbane Airport, operating Flight AN77 to Sydney (Kingsford Smith).

On This Day - March 20, 2005.

The Ozjet Boeing 737-229 G-CEAI was displayed at the Melbourne (Avalon) Air Show. The aircraft was then placed in storage at Melbourne (Tullamarine) while the owners waited for the granting of their 'Operating Certificate'.

On This Day - March 20, 2014.

The Qantas Airways Airbus A330-202 VH-EBR arrived at Brisbane having completed its ferry flight from Singapore (Changi) as Flight QF6006, where it had been repainted into the Qantas 'New Roo' livery, after its lease to Jetstar Airways. The aircraft was then named 'Lockyer Valley'.
