The Ansett-ANA Victorian Air Coach Services Douglas DC-3 VH-ANQ was transferred to Airlines of N.S.W. It acquired the 'Airlines of N.S.W.' titles 10 days later.

The ex Qantas Airways Boeing 707-138B VH-EBL, now registered as N107BN to Braniff International Airways, departed Sydney (Kingsford Smith) on its delivery flight to the United States (Texas / Dallas Fort Worth).

The Trans-Australia Airlines Douglas DC-9-31 VH-TJK 'Douglas Mawson' had the honour of operating the last airline passenger service into Melbourne (Essendon) Airport. It was operating Flight TN457 from Sydney (Kingsford Smith). All operations were then transferred to Melbourne (Tullamarine).
