On This Day - February 19, 1973. Ansett's first Boeing 727-277A (VH-RMU) arrives in Australia. Although accepted by Ansett in November 1972 the aircraft was leased to United Airlines to fulfil a NASA contract. It entered service on February 26, 1973.
