The 'camel hump' scheme always looked the part on the real aircraft, and assistance was given by ex TAA / Qantas employees to ensure that it looks just as good on this 1/200th scale model. The blue and gold markings on this model have been color matched to the actual paint chips supplied by Airbus in 1981.

This model depicts the very first widebody jet to enter Australian domestic service, with the registration of VH-TAA and aptly named 'James Cook'.
